We Share! - Junior & Junior High in Ellsworth
That's Pastor Jerry. He might be getting on in years, but look at that mean left turn to find a chair in Boston Exchange. Speed Demon!
Here's what Pastor Jerry has to say about the retreat...

"It was such a wonderful Junior-Junior High Retreat this last weekend here at Ellsworth. I so much enjoyed getting to know you and having such a great time together...

There were so many good memories from this youth event:
*singing and learning new songs at our 2 Jesus campfires;
*doing St. Patrick's Day crafts and decorating cookies for the poor and homeless living at Ellsworth's Emmaus Homeless Center (Thank you for participating in this caring, community event!);
*eating so much good food, including lunch at Brewer's Pizza Hut (where someone kept taking Ciara's pizza!);
*bunking down with friends here in our church sanctuary and library/classroom;
*playing fun games and activities outside on the church's sandy parking lot!;
*having a blast roller skating, playing laser tag, etc. at Bangor's Great Skates;
*playing old and learning new games and activities such as bopper, Boston exchange, etc.;
*enjoying the Sunday school lesson created by teacher Michele;
*watching the interesting, fun movie, The Sand Lot, in which true friends in the end kept close to each other even when they were adults!;
*having fun teasing David Long who is one of our good friends!;
*singing your hearts out with your outstanding music talent during the Sunday morning worship service;
*and so much more, as you know!

We hope you'll come to Ellsworth as often as you can during any of our 4 spring youth events! These are listed below. You're invited to join us at no cost, no charge, except for $10 charge for bowling on Mar. 27! Come along with friends & have fun together even as we learn more about our Best Friend, Jesus!

-- Sat., March 27, ECC Youth & Church Family Event at 1 pm (Bowling and Birdsacre-Stanwood Wildlife Sanctuary hike--includes an Easter Egg Hunt!)
--Sat., April 10, ECC Social Night (youth and church family), starts at 6:00 pm at the church.
--Fri., April 23, ECC Youth Overnight at the Church (6:00 til Noon).
--Sat., May 7, ECC Social Night (youth and church family) starts at 6:00 pm at the church.

God is with you! Don't forget to pray often!"

Pastor Jerry

That's Trish on the right, with the bunny ears, next to her beautiful Mom. (Thanks Devon or Larry!)
This is what Trish has to say about the retreat...

"I always love it when so many people come together to have a great time getting to know new and old friends and especially putting God and Love first in those great friendships. My favorite part of these retreats is all the very REAL connections that are made, especially through laughter, smiles, kindness, and prayer.
I appreciate and love each person who was here. It took a whole lot of people, old and young, to make this happen. Thanks to each of you. I enjoy everything we did this weekend, and look forward to sharing these great times again and with others.
Peace and Hope!

Also, great times for me... dance break-downs, campfires, singing at church, Christian's outbursts of awesome-ness during church, Peeps awards and learning how to use/earn/give them the RIGHT way!, the goodie bags to the Emmaus Center, getting ready for St. Patrick's Day, Boston Exchange, the BALLOONS!!!, being with my Mommy :), and so many more."
~Trish

PS Sorry for not doing a MUCH better job photo-documenting this retreat. We had camera difficulties. These are the only photos that we got. OOPS! Next time...
